Morning briefing with breakfast: Welcome from your hosts Lottie and Lone and introduction to the Nordic Cuisine
Workshops:
-Making Fire: Learn how to make a fire from scratch and shopping wood.
-Fermenting, Smoking and Charring: Learn how to create unique flavours by lacto-fermenting, hot smoking and ember charring vegetables.
-Butter & Buttermilk: Learn the traditional craft of making butter and buttermilk.
-In between the workshops we will serve lunch and snacks.
-Nordic Feast: Cook and enjoy a Nordic feast on the open fire.
-Bread on sticks with home made butter and wild mountain herbs.
-Wild boar roasted on the fire with charred, smoked, and fermented vegetables.
-Heart shaped buttermilk waffles with preserved berries.
-Hygge around the campfire: make new friends and have a cosy time under the indigo starry winter sky.
Day three | The Flavour of the Mountain

-Morning briefing with breakfast:
-Tasting Terroir, the pure flavours of hyper local produce.
-Guided Foraging Hike:
-Discover the unique mountain nature and forage wild herbs and ingredients.
-Picnic lunch: Freshly baked bread and a selection of delicatessen from the local farmers.
-Thermal Baths: Enjoy thermal water baths, hot sauna, and cold dipping in a beautiful 1930’s French spa town.
-Mountain Dinner:
While you soak in the beautiful spa waters, the cook will prepare a rustic mountain meal for you on the fire.
-Natural wine and Kombucha tasting: Get familiar with the unique flavours of fermented drinks.
Day four | My True North on a Plate

-Morning briefing with breakfast: Showing and sharing who you are with food.
Workshops:
-The principles of deliciousness: learn from the chef the secrets of what makes food mouth-watering delicious by following just a few basic principles.
-Vegetarian Food Design workshop: Create and cook your own vegetarian dish. We set up a mini-farmers market with beautiful, local produce to help you discover the ingredients that inspire you and tell your story. Under the guidance of the chef, you prepare your signature dish.
-In between the workshops we will serve lunch and snacks.
-True North feast: For a final time, we gather around the table to enjoy the dishes that we have prepared during the day. We celebrate all that we’ve learned at the retreat and set intentions for how to carry the insights and skills into our everyday lives.
-Wild Drinks Bar: Make your own unique Snaps liqueur or tea to bring home, create a delicious cocktail or hot drink to share with your fellow fire ladies.
Day five | Departure

We will once more enjoy a wonderful breakfast together after which we will say our goodbyes and check out.
